Lag problems at online play

Hi KsChoice,

Usually I never had problems with lag, I played an american guy many times without lag (I'm from EU), but now there is a guy from Spain and we can't play decent match because of lag. We both have a sufficient net connection and set the graphics to low (rendering, anti-aliasing off).
Would be there any chance to trace this down?

If you both are able to play lag-less games with other users, it's hard to come up with a reason other than Internet jams. If, on the other hand, you are able to find a pattern by experimenting the same problem while connecting with others, that could be investigated.

As long as the action is fluid, display speed shouldn't have an impact on lag. You mostly need a very good ping with your opponent, 20 ms or less being perfect.

But i m from south America theres is a chance to get this ping time with people from Europe?

It's difficult. However, there are already a number of FA players from South America.
