Nobody mentioned it to me. I found out today when reading the online chat. I am in the process of releasing a fixed version.

Ok,
I take back thos lags, its already ok.

BUT

Although I am glad you tried to do something with side spins, you have to remake it.
Spins on topspin shots are bad, wrong direction. Take a look at some Federers shots for example, when he plays inside-out shot (forehand from his backhand side cross-court). This shot goes out of the court, not inside. (ball tends to spin to the right).

In this case, both are possible, and then there needs to be a way to choose between the two.

Ok, you are right, both are possible. It depends where the rocquet touches the ball.
So it's quite a challenge for you to develop a system for choosing spin direction :-).
Just hope you will make it good. Otherwise, dont do it at all.

The other challenge relies on the decision of this spin (another button ?). This seems hard for the player too muahahaha. Good luck !

I think the gameplay is complex enough as it is.

The new version is available now.

Ok,
but this system of side-spins is just not good enough.
Well,
slice shots spin is good, looks real,
dropshot spin is good too, only it could be stronger.
But topspin spin is not good at all. Especially on the backhand, more often ball spins to the left side (respectively from view behind player).

I don't know if an in game option would be the best solution as it would further complicate the control mechanism but rather a circumstantial system for the game to choose for you would be good because realistically, how often are you going to hit an inside-out forehand from the right side of the court (when you're right handed) and vice versa? Not very often I would think.

How often??
You havent played with me much, so you cant know :-D.
And also backhand down the line spins in wrong direction, it should go to the left, out of court.
I have an idea:
I was thinking about it. The difference could be how high you hit the ball.
When you play forehand and hit it high (on level of your stomach or shoulders), the ball would probably curve to the right. Just think about it, all these inside-out forehands are playd when the ball is high and you have time to run around the backhand.
On the other hand, when you hit the ball low, on the level of your knees for example, it would spin to the left.
Try to imagine it, the hand angle is different, when you hit low and high balls, racquet angle is different.
This would be quite good way to deal with it. No need for additional buttons, just make the spin depend on height of the ball when you hit the shot.

And once more, if you want to see how often I play inside-out shots, play with me first ;-).
