Thanks. I'll try those. It's true that French Open courts are very slow, I think this year they may be even slower than usual.

Yeah most of all the courts now play Medium to Slow. Heck even wimbledon is slower You can tell because the grass is worn on the baseline now. I remember reading in ESPN the Magazine about a Roddick 140+mph serve and the effects of resistence and the court that when the opposing player was ready to make contact that the ball would lose 50% or more of it's velocity (around 70mph when it reaches it's destination). You can see it even on HardCourts when a guy hammers what appears to be a winner and when the ball makes contact with the court you can clearly see it slows down alot where the great movers can get it back in play. That's one reason why all the dominant players the big 3 are great movers.

I would love to see the courts play like that and maybe even have another shot a defensive shot added like a defensive slice that would give a player greater reach than the normal slice. Kinda like the squash FH and Slice BH shots that Federer, Nadal, Djokovic uses alot when playing defense. Have the regular slice button and then add a defensive slice/shot button that would have more reach and lift (Floaty if you will) with alot less control than the regular slice shot.

Also do you think maybe the Speed-Radars could get an update maybe like some of these:

And maybe having them up on the wall and in the corners like the pictures shown?

Keep it up man loving the game it's truly the best tennis game ever.

I agree with Agassi's suggestions, especially with slowing down the courts.

About that other slice shot, maybe it could be performed like "double tap" slice? What do you think?

Well you can add power by taping on the button so it would have to be another button.

I cant see it in the original post - but sorry if anyone has said this before.

I just bought the game, and I wonder if there is any plan to introduce a form of 'create a character' thing for career mode. Like starting off playing challengers and gradually increasing your skills over time, getting more points the more you win or something (I was slightly addicted to this mechanic in smash court tennis 2 for the PS2).

Does this happen already? Or shall I just do it myself in the editor! :)

For now you just create your character in the editor. But unfortunately player skills don't evolve yet in career mode. It's one of the upcoming features.

(And also possibly net post color)

Thanks

I think Agassi74 should be able to answer that better than me, actually.

The list of suggestions is amazing. All of those would benefit many more players than my request.

I have created characters for people I knew many, many years ago.
I would like to be able to play an Exibition match between 2 players, both players operated by computer.
Non Human participation could be an 'option'. I would also like a choice of 3 sets or 5 sets.
If this is a 'easy' programming change, I hope you will consider it. :D

Great game!

You may already do that. In exhibition screen, you can choose Computer for both characters.

Hey kschoice do you think maybe we could in the future be able to edit the tournament calender? What I mean by that is for instance move one tournament(s) changing the week in editor from one week to another. Also maybe give us the ability to edit the surface and maybe the stadiums for the Challenger and Futures events like that of the main tournaments.

Yes, but the problem is that some changes may make the game go awry. For instance, if you put several FA4 or FA1000 tournaments in the same week, or too many tournaments in the same week, etc...

Sure understood. Would love to be able to adjust a few tournaments none of the Majors they are just fine just a few smaller tournaments 250's etc... and some challengers, futures. Also being able to change some of the court surfaces like changing one from hardcourt to clay etc... for the challengers and futures.

That would be very good...
