Is there anyone in Australia here who would want to play online with me? If so, just post here or shoot me a PM.

this is possible - over so far kilometers nearly every game have little lag problem -
was it still playable for you?

It varies from player to player. The online practice match I had with Schaffinho was the best connection with any online player I've ever had. Almost no lag whereas with other players range from minor to major lag. The majority of players that I've played seem to be from Europe.

yeah from australia to europe is bad . very long distance
to play with lag makes not fun.

Aus to EU is not always bad. Like I said, I had a very good connection with Schaffinho, with little to no lag, he appears to be from Germany. I am curious to know what his up-link connection is.

Yea. Jay. That is correct. It is based on the time of day and the top connection speed. I mean, from experience, I have proof of playing some great Aussies. The connection was dodgy sometimes, but most playable! :)

Jay. You were talking about Australia to Europe right? In that case, I am agreeing that Aussies are fine. I am from United States and have had great, decent, and jerky (but good connection) with my mates "Down Under!"

Hi

I need some help, how to host a game?

I have tried to follow the instructions in the forum, how to acess and configure NAT on my modem/router, you will see a copy of my message to my ITST-opponent while we struggle to play our game when we both only manage to join a game, this is what i wrote and i hope you can help because i am at the right place with the right acess so i am just lacking on tech-pc skills ;)

I wrote:

Hi, i cant seem to get it right......so what do we do?
We have to play tomorow, I can try some more, my friend couldnt help me because his is not home, i will read a bit more, I have manae to acess my modem/router and change the NAT to open gates, but i have to fill in a server ip adress that i dont understand what adress to register, in the forum they say its not neccasary to do so i dont know, looks like this:

Network > NAT > Port Forwarding

Rule Setup

Active: ( i have choosen active on)
Service Name: ( I wrote ENV,and try also with Full Ace)
Start Port: 50000 (same as default in settings in the game)
End Port: 50000 (the same)
Server IP Address: ?????? I dont know what to set here??
my adress, online games adress....or what??? i tried like this:
# Active /yes
Service Name Start Port End Port Server IP Address Modify
1 env 50000 50000 10. 0. 0. 1

ENV

I hope you can help or give me instructions on the following:

if i have this in my "settings menu" in full ace and choose "online" I have:

Nickname: ENV
Port: 50000

Then I enter my router and configure the NAT and choose:

Network > NAT > Port Forwarding

Default Server: 0.0.0.0 ( should i change this??)

Active: x (set it to active = yes)
User define ( userdefine i hope is the right choise)
Start port: 50000
End port: 50000
Server IP: 0.0.0.0 (I dont know what to use, what IP?)

Hope you can help me, thx

ENV

Problem is, NAT configuration is different with each different router, so it is impossible to deliver useful information for everybody.
Chances are you have to put the local IP of the computer you are using to play Full Ace somewhere in the configuration (NAT tells the router which computer it should forward packets to when they come on a given port).

Maybe you can find some useful information there : http://www.portforward.com

What do I have to do for hosting a game. Can somebody help me step by step please.Because I couldn't figure it out.
I tried to make static IP İt was 192.168.1.111(Now i delete it because did not work)and put it in the box (Forwarded to...)
and made the ports 50000 which is the Fullace default port number and UDP protocol also fullace default protocol...

OK guys I fixed it:)))
It is not about static ip or firewall.Only you have to find your ip adress.
Select start menu, press run and then write "cmd"and inside cmd.exe write "ipconfig"press enter.
you will see your ip adress there.Write it to the"Forwarded to Internet Host Address" box(I show it on my previous message)
Protocol is UDP and all the other numbers are 50000 which is default port number in Fullace.

You have to use the online feature of the game to host a party (or match). It is really simple. Start the game. Click on the multiplayer feature and join and or host a game.

Are there any normal players? I played only with players who use maxed characters, everything on 100 %, wtf??? What is the beauty of that? This is a simulation, or it should be, i dont understand... i just played vs Sirocco. He used maxed player 'dnald duck'. It s some kid probably. I choose roger, i am winning 5-3 and kid starts to lob every shot. Unbeliavable. Where do those morons come? if someone is fr real tennis, let me know. See ya on court.

P.s. sirocco, man, you need to practise. with maxed player i am winning 5-3? haha, lame kid, lame..
