Right now I'm working on a DirectX version of Full Ace, because many players can't play it due to buggy OpenGL drivers. It should be available soon, then I'll be able to resume working on other features.

buggy OpenGL drivers? What do you mean?
Is it related to latest extension in OpenGL 4.0/4.1?
I've always thought that OpenGL is a quite stable API.

I know that many issues changed with the versions 3.0/3.1 and the deprecation model.
But I've always liked the "open" portability of OpenGL over the propietary way of Microsoft DirectX.
Even though Carmack now prefers DirectX over OpenGL...

Full Ace crashes on certain old ATI and Intel cards because of buggy OpenGL drivers. I guess there is not enough OpenGL-based products to put pressure on manufacturers to fix their drivers.
