I entered my activation number into the space provided after downloading the full version, but i get this message every time i start the full game and it won't let me activate the game when re-downloading the game. any help would be appreciated! thanks

I'm not sure no, i might have entered it wrong the first time but it hasn't allowed me to try again and seems to have blocked that ability.

I found another person who i think may have had the same problem on the forum, i'll have a look at whether there was a solution on that.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game should enable you to enter a licence number again.

Can you be more specific ? What reason does it give ?

As far as i can see, it gives no reason. Each time i launch the game it says 'Licence authentication failed' Followed by Full version features disabled'. This is as far as i've gotten so far haha

It also says 'you have to register and install you license file in order to unlock this version'

Ok so the licence you entered is incorrect. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ?

Yes, i've done that numerous times. Do you think the problem may be with the download link from my activation email?

I am sure there is nothing to do with that. When you uninstall and reinstall, does the game ask you again for the license number ?

No, it just comes up with the same thing. Is there maybe a file that i am missing or need to remove which may be stopping the game from re-activating?

Normally, the uninstallation process should remove those files. You need to look for a file called licence.dat in Program Files and/or in our Local Settings directory.

I can't seem to find the license.dat file. I'm using windows 7 and it is not in my Applications data folder
