Thoughts

Postby Vieira151 » Tue Feb 03, 2009 6:35 pm

Having played the demo, here is what i thought:

Likes:
I liked the shot system. It will make matches very interesting
The ball trajectories/physics

Dislikes:
Graphics(not entirely necessary for a good game though :))
Timing Window
Animations(look a bit odd, only when compared to modern tennis)
Movement(it is too blocky, if movement was smoother, it would improve the shotmaking)

I have one main question.
Is there a movement/timing window? Because a lot of the time i would aim my shots, but the character would move instead and miss the ball  )

You should aim just after you release the shot button and before the racket hits the ball.

I am wondering what settings do keyboard uses use for manual preparation, I use Left and Right shift instead of default settings, and have found this is easier for me.

I use Z for left preparation, X for right. C for top spin shot, and V for a power shot. Shift for slice, ctrl for lob, and space for drop shot.
